FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: intermittent combustion burner contains a combustion chamber with igniter, limited by side walls, open end from one side and close end from the other side, mixer connected with the combustion chamber by the air-fuel mixture supply channel, air and fuel supply channels with dosing holes and check valves, at that the mixer is installed in continuation of the air supply pipeline by means of its connection with fuel supply pipeline at level of the dosing holes made in continuation of the air supply pipeline. Air-fuel mixture supply channel from the mixer to the combustion chamber is connected with the hole made in close end of the combustion chamber, at that the longitudinal axis of the air-fuel mixture supply channel is at angle to plane of the close end of the combustion chamber and crosses surface of the side wall of the combustion chamber.

EFFECT: invention simplified design of the intermittent combustion burner, ensures complete fuel combustion at low concentration of NO_x and CO in exhaust gases.
