FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises heating of DC gas-discharge display panels, excitement and maintaining of discharge in their cells filled with mix of inert gases with mercury vapours. Meanwhile the panels are heated up to the temperature amounting 0.7-1.0 from the temperature corresponding to the beginning of rise of discharge maintaining voltage.
EFFECT: increase of durability of gas-discharge display panels.
