FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine gas chromatographic retention indices of O-alkylmethylfluorophosphonate (OAMFP) compounds based on 13C NMR data. The method includes constructing correlation equations for a known sample of isomers and determining the retention indices of unknown isomers from the established relationship, wherein the spectral characteristic used is the overall chemical shift of nuclei of 13C atoms which are located in a branch of the carbon skeleton of the O-alkyl radical and calculated from 13C NMR spectra.
EFFECT: high reliability and objectivity of determining gas chromatographic retention indices of OAMFP compounds.
