FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the study of vapours of substances by measuring their physical properties using a mass spectrometry method in combination with a chromatography method. Method of identifying organophosphorus compounds by chromatographic-mass spectrometry with cylindrical ion trap involves separation of substances on a chromatographic column with subsequent detection in a mass detector, wherein in the conditions of one analysis, mass spectra of electron ionisation in the decay are selected, vertex and lifting of one chromatographic peak, differing by a set of peaks-ions both by weight values, and by their intensity; performing group identification by comparison with mass spectra of NIST database; determining the probable molecular weight; calculating the number of carbon atoms in O-alkyl radicals, wherein the difference between the value of the pseudomolecular ion and the ion formed by eliminating the alkene fragment must be multiple of 14; on the set of obtained data, the organophosphorus compound is identified.

EFFECT: higher validity and reliability of identifying organophosphorus compounds in samples of unknown composition, as well as broader functional capabilities of a mass-spectrometric method based on a cylindrical ion trap.
