FIELD: blasting operations.
SUBSTANCE: pyrotechnic composition for colour fire for fireworks and celebratory gunfires comprises colour-generating nitrate oxidizer - barium or strontium nitrate 60-68 wt %, magnesium powder 13-15 wt %, polyvinyl chloride as a colour enhancer 13-15 wt %, PTFE-4 1-3 wt %, and phenol-formaldehyde resin 5-7 wt %. Phenol-formaldehyde resin is used in the form of 70% solution in alcohol-acetone mixture of 70:30, respectively. The achieved result consists in improvement of quality indicators of the purpose on saturation and brightness of the flame colour, which provides a high colourful effect of fireworks, celebratory gunfires, increases the range of visibility and distinctiveness of colour signals.
EFFECT: optimisation of quantitative composition and hardening of pyrotechnic articles, compressed at low specific loads of technological composition safe in production and processing, with a significant reduction of external friction forces when hard pressing of functional tablets.
