FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: pyrotechnic composition for fireworks contains a colour-flame oxidant - barium nitrate or strontium nitrate, polyvinyl chloride, aluminium-magnesium powder, phenol-formaldehyde resin and, as recyclable pyroxylin-containing wastes, combustible case material which contains trinitrotoluene, pyroxylin and cellulose in weight ratio of 1:0.5:0.5, respectively.

EFFECT: invention enables to recycle inevitable combustible wastes, thereby preventing environmentally hazardous emissions during combustion thereof; the composition for fireworks is characterised by improved intended properties of flame saturation with a characteristic colour due to high rate of combustion and specific output of the desired product.
