FIELD: pyrotechnics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pyrotechnics, specifically pyrotechnic compositions which can be used in making signals and fireworks. Pyrotechnic composition of yellow fire contains coloring agents barium nitrate and strontium nitrate, magnesium powder, calcium stearate, color enhancer – chloroparaffin ChP-66T, complex of process additives in composition of fluorine rubber SKF-32-20, phenol-formaldehyde resin SF-342A and graphite of pyrotechnic ("P") and substance based on silicon dioxide – white soot BS-100 at optimum ratio of components.

EFFECT: combustion of the composition is characterized by growth of luminescence at a long range of visibility and distinguishability of a signal light rich in yellow, as well as a bright spectacular effect of fireworks with increased distance of its pyrotechnic elements; wherein the composition is non-hygroscopic and maintains functional reliability with a constant level of purpose after arsenal storage of charges, which determines suitability for mass production of signals and fireworks.
