FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: turbomachine is operated under increased working temperature, with stationary and rotating components (12, 16) with a gap between them being provided to prevent contact. The gap acquires the first value in the machine standstill mode, and it takes the second value in the steady-state mode of the machine operation. The gap passes through the extreme value on the curve during the period of transition from the standstill to the steady-state mode due to the fact that different components rotate with different rotation speed and have different expansion factors. There provided are compensation units (20) with non-linear compensation mechanism to reduce or compensate the extreme gap value during the transition period. The compensation units exert maximal influence where the gap takes the extreme value.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
