FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for the selection of individual diet therapy in treatment-and-prophylactic institutions. For this purpose a patient keeps a diary of physical activity for 7 days with the registration of the passive and active time of the day tact, tpas. After that, an averaged coefficient of physical activity CPAav and an average value of energy consumption Ecpaav for a day are determined. Load testing is carried out in the mode of the step-by-step increasing load with 10 W growth step, 3 minute long step duration, with the maximal load value not exceeding 100 W. Then, a graph showing the dependence of energy consumption on the load value is built and the load value, corresponding to Ecpaav, is determined, at the level of which values of nutrient exchange indices in the process of load testing VPcpaav, VCcpaav, VFcpaav are fixed and taking into account factual indices of nutrients VPres,VCres,VFres and energy consumption at rest Eres, an individual upper boundary of the patient's requirements is determined by formulas: Eind=k1Eres+k2Ecpaav, VPind=VPresk1+VPcpaavk2, VCind=VCresk1+VCcpaavk2, VFind=VFresk1+VFcpaavk2, where Eind is the individual index of the person's rational energy exchange (kkal/day); Eres is energy consumption at rest (kkal/day); Ecpaav is the average value of energy consumption under physical load (kkal/day); tact, tpas are active and passive time of the day (hour); k1=tpas/24 is the coefficient of the passive time of the day; k2=tact/24 is the coefficient of the active time of the day; VPind, VCind, VFind are individual indices of the nutrient exchange of the person's proteins, carbohydrates and fats (kkal/day); VPres, VCres, VFres are indices of the nutrient exchange of proteins, carbohydrates and fats in the rest state (kkal/day); VPcpaav, VCcpaav, VFcpaav are average indices of the nutrient exchange of proteins, carbohydrates and fats under physical load (kkal/day).
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of evaluating the individual indices of an upper boundary of the person's energy and macronutrient exchange with great accuracy due to the elaboration of a special system of load testing, connected with respiratory calorimetry, making it possible to obtain values of the real day-average requirement of proteins, fats, carbohydrates and energy.
