FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: gear wheel comprises a body, a gear rim and a pair of ring pads fixed on the edges of the gear rim and the body part adjoining the rim. The gear rim is made of separate teeth that are not connected to each other. The teeth are truncated in their bases with working sections of their side surfaces being preserved and are fixed by their ends between the ring pads.

EFFECT: minimisation of costs on gear wheel manufacturing and improvement of gear wheel reparability.
