FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for closing containers, in particular to the assemblies of container lids with seal for pastes, liquids, and other materials. The assembly (10) of the container lid with seal comprises a container housing (20), a lid (30), and seal (40) cooperating with the housing. The seal is retained on the lid when the lid is initially installed on the housing. Upon subsequent opening and removal of the lid the seal is detached from the lid and remains on the housing. If requested, this seal can be manually removed and subsequently re-installed on the housing.
EFFECT: implementation of the lid assembly with seal does not require additional operations in the manufacturing process for the separate installation of this seal into the container after it is filled, but before the lid is attached to the container housing.
