FIELD: package and storage.

SUBSTANCE: package for a powdered food product contains a food product receiving container having a base and a peripheral wall. Cover assembly comprises a circumferential rim, forming an access hole, for connection with container and cover hinged to the rim by means of at least one hinge, having hinge axis. Cover has an open position and a closed position, in which it closes the access hole. Hinge comprises a part related to the rim made integral with the rim, and the part related to the cover made as a whole with the cover, which can be engaged with each other for connection of the cover to the rim. Hinge is made so that the part related to the cover could be engaged with the part relating to the rim only in the open position of the cover. In closed position of cover, part related to cover is attached to part related to rim, preventing separation of part related to cover from part related to rim. Hinge is also configured to prevent opening of cover beyond point, in which package is unstable.

EFFECT: package with hinge consisting of two parts is disclosed.
