FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: conical jet scrubber comprises a casing with branch pipes for dust-laden and purified gas, a nozzle spraying device, support and limiting trays with a packed bed in between, a liquid trap made as a packed bed layer placed between the support and limiting trays, and a sludge removing device; the support trays are made resilient, and the packed bed placed above the lower support tray is made from resilient materials, for example, in the form of polyethylene balls, a vibrator is set on the lower support tray, the packed bed is made as hollow balls with spiral groove provided on their spherical surface, or the packed bed is made as a spiral line formed on the spherical surface and having the profile like a circle, polygon, Berl saddle or Itallox saddle in the section perpendicular to the spiral line. The nozzle spraying device comprises a hollow cylindrical casing consisting of a cylindrical part with external thread, a captive nut with a conical outlet hole, and a swirler in the cylindrical chamber of the casing made as a bush with external screw thread with large pitch of trapezoidal profile and fixed by internal thread on a rod being fixed by its upper part to the casing with the help of a screen filter, a plate sprayer is fixed to the end face surface of the captive nut axisymmetrically to the casing and consists of two plates which are perpendicular to the casing axis and parallel to each other, one plate (the first plate) is fitted by a central hole and the second plate is solid and fixed to the first one by three fasteners including a screw and spacing calibrated washers set between the plates and between the end face surface of the captive nut and the first plate that serve as an adjusting member regulating the gap between the sprayer plates, the second solid plate of the plate sprayer is not flat but concave or convex, and the top of the convex surface can be turned both to the side of the end face surface of the captive nut and averted from it.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of dust separation by increasing the liquid spraying level by nozzles.
