SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used at continuous casting. Roller shell (28) rests on rotary shaft (24) without possibility of rotation therewith and comprises at least one coolant channel (32) communicated with coolant line (30) of said rotary shaft (24). Central area of roller shell (28) arranged between two end areas holds at least 50% of roller shell length. Said central area includes at least one coolant inlet and/or outlet.
EFFECT: longer life of inlet and outlet seals.
