SUBSTANCE: at entry end of cast strip where melted metal is received mechanism for directing moving flexible stretched cast strip contains non-rotational semi-cylinder mechanism and pair of narrow pulleys directing cast strip; at exit end, where cast product comes out, mechanism has drum directing cast strip. The drum is designed to set off its axis in vertical and horizontal directions against the plane of the cast strip. Non-rotational semi-cylinder mechanism forms a cushion out of fluid medium by means of supplying fluid medium under pressure to cylinder bent inside surface of the cast strip supporting the cast strip in a suspended position. Fluid medium corresponds to air, water or steam. Rotating axes of pulleys coincide with the axis of mechanism curvature creating a cushion out of fluid medium.
EFFECT: efficient cast strip directing and leading.
