FIELD: sport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sports, in particular to master sticks for playing ice hockey, and can be used in the repair of hollow sticks. The method comprises preparing serviceable parts of the shaft in the repair area of the insert, made with use of the fabric based on carbon fibres, alignment of the ends of the repaired parts of the said shaft, and placement of the prepared shaft in the clamping device. At that the hollow insert is used, consisting of an elastic material hermetically fastened on the air blower with a prepreg mounted on its surface as the fabric based on carbon fibres, air supply is carried out under pressure inside the hollow insert, the outer layers of the prepreg are applied outwards of the shaft placed in the clamping device in the repair area, the repaired section is heated and maintained to complete polymerisation of the prepreg, and after the polymerisation process the air is evacuated from the hollow insert and it is removed from the shaft.
EFFECT: invention enables to save the stick weight, its rigidity and balance through the use of the hollow insert placed inside the cavity of the shaft only during repair.
