FIELD: atomic physics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a nuclear power plant. The nuclear power plant consists of a primary circuit (10) containing a gas which passes through a nuclear reactor (12), through a first heat-exchanger (14) and through a gas blower (16'). A secondary circuit (17') containing a non-condensable gas passes through the first heat-exchanger (14) and through a turbine (18) and a compressor (22), mounted on one shaft (24'). The gas blower is actuated by the shaft. The gas in the primary and secondary circuits is identical and pressure in the secondary circuit is automatically controlled by pressure in the first circuit.
EFFECT: continued operation of the gas blower during emergency shutdown of the reactor.
