FIELD: nuclear reactors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an integral fast neutron nuclear reactor. Reactor comprises a main tank including an active zone and an integral primary circuit comprising a primary pump, an intermediate heat exchanger and a heat exchanger for removing residual power, as well as a step dividing the heat carrier volume into hot collector (12) and a cold collector. Core comprises a protective device consisting of at least one elementary protective device (45) designed to minimize the consequences of accidents with core melting, comprising transfer pipe (40) and through pipe (42) passing through lower support plate (30) of the core and support belt (31), opening into the lower part of the reservoir. Transfer pipe (40) comprises one or more injection nozzles and a zone of reduced thickness to increase the perforation speed in case of an accident with core melting. Device (41) for extracting molten fuel is located in the lower part of the reservoir.
EFFECT: minimization of consequences of an accident with core melting of an integral fast neutron reactor.
