DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC H04L29/00

Abstract RU 2550518 C2

FIELD: physics, communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and specifically to methods of transmitting information from physical quantity detectors using a current loop interface. A method of transmitting data using a current loop interface includes consecutively transmitting on the same transmission lines multiple analogue and digital parameters, wherein digital data are transmitted after transmitting analogue data with association to a second clock-pulse generated by a microcontroller sensor, digital data are transmitted byte-wise while breaking down the current range into 256 subranges, and transmission of control commands from the receiver, which includes a programmable microcontroller, to the sensor is carried out by changing the time of turning on power for, or measurement with testing and outputting of measurement results, or measurement with testing and turning colour display. In the method of transmitting data using a current loop interface, the current in the line ranges from 4 mA to 20 mA.

EFFECT: high noise-immunity of data transmission and powering the sensor directly from the transmission line.
