FIELD: shielding effect degree determination.
SUBSTANCE: technical solution relates to means for determining the degree of shielding effect of the metal elements of the test sections of the automatic locomotive signaling control points on the measurement results of the technical and operational characteristics of the automatic locomotive signaling receiving equipment. The device comprises a control module connected to each other, consisting of a first control unit, an indication unit, a data input unit, a wired interface unit, a wireless interface unit, a memory unit and a first unit of the internal data transmission interface; and a measurement module consisting of a second block of the internal data transmission interface, a second control block, a non-contact current sensor made in the form of a measuring coil or a Hall sensor and located at a fixed distance relative to the level of the rail head along its vertical axis, and a measurement block.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of shielding factor measurement at test sections of checkpoints of automatic locomotive signaling.
