SUBSTANCE: invention relates to relay centre and to the connection re-establishment method. The communication system relay centre containing the communication unit which starts the relay centre session by execution of operation of initial connection establishment to get a list of cells indicating one or more possible delegating base stations, through a base station after establishment of an initial communication channel between the relay centre, the base station and the switching centre, and for establishment of communication channel from one of delegating base stations of the list of cells, and with the switching centre connected to the delegating base station; the storage unit and the connection re-establishment control module which if the channel of radio communication with the delegating base station is interrupted, selects the delegating base station complying with the pre-set criterion from the list of cells stored in the storage unit and which provides establishment by the communication unit of a communication channel with the selected delegating base station and with the switching centre connected with the selected delegating base station.

EFFECT: possibility to quick re-establish the radio communication channel between the relay centre and the delegating base station at interruption of the specified radio communication channel.
