FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: coupling to connect a rotor to a balance testing installation comprises the main part of the body, a variety of connecting elements and a ring. The main body part is fitted by a protruding thin part for insertion into the balancing installation shaft, and a protruding insert part for insertion into a hole in the rotor. The connecting elements are set in the holes of the main body part. The ring is mounted over the protruding insert part and near the hole outlets in the main body part. When connecting a rotor to the balance testing installation, the protruding insert part of the conjugation unit is inserted into the hole in the rotor and the torque is applied to the variety of connecting elements. The connecting elements are located in the main body part of the conjugation unit to press the ring mounted above the protruding insert part to the mating surface around the hole in the rotor. Afterwards the drive shaft of the balance testing installation is connected to the protruding thin part in the main body part of the conjugation unit. Another invention of the group relates to a balance testing system comprising the said balance testing installation. The balance testing installation consists of the drive shaft, the coupling connected to the drive shaft by one end, and the rotor connected to receive torque from the drive shaft with the help of the coupling made as stated above.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows for the decrease of balance testing installation weight and for the improvement of balancing accuracy.
