SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to driving axle suspension system. Vehicle suspension system contains the first trailing arm assembly including mounting bracket and the first trailing arm member, and the second trailing arm assembly including the second mounting bracket, the second trailing arm member and torque member. The torque member has essentially oval-shaped configuration of cross-section and includes a pair of essentially flat areas passing along the length of torque member and a pair of essentially arc-shaped areas passing along the length of torque member and separated by essentially flat areas. In the second version, the vehicle suspension system also contains spring assembly and spring assembly bearing including the first area with a hole which accepts into itself the torque member and the second area connected with the first area and made capable to carry spring assembly on it. The first area and the second area of spring assembly bearing represent a single integral part. In the third version, the second trailing arm member includes the first end, the second end and intermediate place located between the first end and the second end. Cross-section area of the second trailing arm member in position near the first end of the second trailing arm member is less than the cross-section area of the second trailing arm member in position near intermediate place of the second trailing arm member. In the fourth version, vehicle suspension system includes overtype curved first stopping surface and underneath curved second stopping surface.
EFFECT: reduced mass, reduced number of parts and increased durability of driving axle suspension.
