FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: flare burner includes a hollow housing made as a pipe fitted in its outlet part with a spreader arranged with an annular gap relative to upper end of the housing. Inside the pipe, at least, two hollow profiled central bodies designed as profiled nozzles are installed. Each nozzle has the minimum flow area located in its output part. The hollow housing is designed with conic expansion in its output part, and the output spreader is designed as the cone facing with the top towards input part of the housing of the burner. In the annular gap, preferably, between output part of the spreader and the output conic part of the housing the additional spreader designed, mainly, as a cutting structure of V-shaped profile facing with the top towards input part of the housing are installed. The method of burning of gases using the flare burner according to the invention is also offered.
EFFECT: improved mix forming conditions, improved stability of burning in wind conditions with simultaneous decrease in thermal loads of flare elements.
