FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of liquid glass as binder, additive or reagent in construction, chemical industry, machine building, textile and pulp-and-paper industries. Water-soluble glass is produced at interaction of the charge of silica and natural sodium sulphates or sulphate wastes at boiling of said charge in circular cyclone chamber with boiling pool. Two-component sulphate charge is fed to circular cyclone chamber via tangential tuyeres while boiling occurs at 1450-1550°C.
EFFECT: simplified process, lower costs.
