FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method of harmonic analysis of a periodic multifrequency signal involves an iterative process of determining the necessary shape of the weight function. As a result of multiple estimations of the frequency of components of the periodic multifrequency signal, the form of the weight function is selected such that, at the frequency of any of the analysed signal components, spectrum components from other signal components on amplitude are equal to zero, wherein the multiplicity of zero, defined by the derivative order of the spectrum modulus, can be of a pre-set degree. In the additional cycle of the harmonious analysis the additional zero of weight function range is pre-set with a frequency at which the minimum possible equivalent noise band is provided, at other zeroes pre-set before this in the weight function range. At the expense of reduction of the equivalent noise band of the weight function the errors of assessment of frequencies, phases and amplitudes of harmonic components of signal against the noise background are decreased.
EFFECT: reduced error when measuring frequency, amplitude and phase of harmonic components of a periodic multifrequency signal against the noise background.
