FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metrology, in particular to radio range meters. Radio-range station contains: a waveguide with perforations located in the reservoir, an electromagnetic wave excitation device, a controlled radio frequency signal generator with one input and two outputs, a digital signal processing circuit, a power divider, a directional coupler, a mixer, a pre-processing circuit, a frequency synthesizer, a digital signal processing circuit, and a controlled radio-frequency signal generator. In the waveguide, standard reflectors are created, located at distances from each other more than six elements of the distance resolution of the radar method of measuring the distance from FM probing waves, wherein the upper reference reflector is positioned above the maximum level of filling of the reservoir with the controlled liquid, and the reference reflectors are designed to reflect electromagnetic waves propagating in the waveguide that do not exceed a predetermined portion of the reflected electromagnetic waves from the monitored liquid.

EFFECT: reducing the error in measuring the distance when changing the properties of the medium inside the waveguide.
