FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum circuit breakers contain minimum two phase modules with vacuum arc-quenching chambers, flexible current conductors, traction insulators, high-voltage connections, mechanical shafts controlling vacuum circuit breakers. The circuit breaker contains additionally at least one unit that transfers torsion torque between mechanical shafts controlling phase modules. The mechanical control shaft may be synchronising, locking, unlocking and drive. The shaft of at least one phase module may be a through-going one. Number of phase modules may be equal to three and number of units transferring torsion torque between mechanical shafts is equal to two. The unit transferring torsion torque may be designed with at least one fork joint. The unit transferring torsion torque may be made in a form of spring.
EFFECT: improving compact size and reliability of vacuum circuit breaker due to potential change in geometric relationship of its poles.
