FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention offers the wind-driven power plant with a horizontal rotation axis. The wind-driven power plant contains the housing fitted with stabilizers designed as stiffening ribs. In the housing the horizontal shaft is placed, wind wheels are installed on the shaft in front of and behind the tower and have blades with increased working area, in medium and peripheral zones.
EFFECT: effect of air flow of medium and peripheral zones on the wind turbine behind the tower provides substantial increase of total power of the wind turbine.
