FEEDING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: feeding machine has frame with spoke, supporting column, cardan shaft, reducer, belt drive, carrier wheels, and carrier shoes. Feeding machine is further provided with rotor. Two rows of knives and two rows of Y-shaped beats are mounted on rotor. Knives and beats are pivotally fixed in bracket. Knives of first row are staggered with respect to knives of second row. Beats are arranged behind related knives. Feeding machine has protective housing, discharge pipeline curved along radial line and narrowing in direction of advancement of plant mass, and shield positioned in pivot joint at end of upper generatrix of discharge pipeline. The latter is provided with window. Windrower of concave shape is fixed below discharge pipeline window in frame pivot joint. Frame may be inclined, and inclination angle may be adjusted by screw-type angle regulator. Frame is retained in horizontal position by tie bar. Such construction allows single working tool to be used for mowing, maturation and conveyance of plants to windrower.
