FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention covers the reduction of dangers related with the collision with space objects: asteroids, comets, etc. Proposed method comprises launching of spacecraft equipped with dangerous space object destruction hardware and landing thereat. Object density is defined and parts of controlled sizes are separated from said objects. Said parts are selected so that their weight involves the least danger for the Earth. Complete separation of said object is terminated shortly before its approach to the Earth to Roche limit (for "liquid" satellite). Separated parts are displaced for access to the rest bulk of the object. Relative position of separated parts is limited so that they cannot be connected but moved off by the Earth gravity field gradient.
