EARTH SAFETY FROM THE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SPACE OBJECT METHOD AND ITS REALISATION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC B64G99/00 B64G1/56

Abstract RU 2623415 C2

FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns the earth safety from the potentially dangerous space objects (PDSO) of a natural origin (asteroids, comets and fireballs) by means of the their orbits modification by virtue of the external influence on them. The PDSO fly orbit direct deflection by an atomic explosion is taken as the earth safety from the PDSO enforcement action. This action changes or excludes the PDSO orbit intercept with the Earth's orbit. One models conditions of the on-board navigation actualization when space delivery means of the nuclear explosive flying up to the PDSO after the best ballistic schemes with the minimum consumed power consumption selection. And one also models the flying up scheme with the help of which one guarantees slow approach and high-precision steering on the PDSO and realizes the safe joint flight at close range. One models the flight following and inspection the PDSO circuit after the explosion. With the help of this circuit one determines the orbit modification as the result of the atomic explosion effect fact by means of the earth-based and on-board watching facilities and measuring facilities. Then one carries out a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of this modification.

EFFECT: increase in efficiency of the Earth protection against potentially dangerous space objects.
