FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ecologically pure lubricating material for lubrication of zone of "wheel-rail" contact of rail transport, containing as base oil biodegradable oil or mixture of base oil, selected from lubricating base oil of mineral oil type, synthetic lubricating base oil and biodegradable lubricating base oil. Lubricant contains as thickening agent lithium-calcium soap of 12-oxystearic acid, as additives, improving tribotechnical properties, sodium tetraborate and sulphuretted oil, in addition lubricant contains glycerol, with the following component ratio, wt %: 12-oxystearic acid - 7.3-10.3; calcium hydroxide - 0.3-0.5; lithium hydroxide - 0.2-0.7; sodium tetraborate - 2.0-4.3; glycerol - 0.9-2.1; sulphuretted oil - 6.8-9.0; base oil VMG3- 0-9.1; synthetic oil BZV - 0-6.5; vegetable oil (for instance, sunflower oil unrefined) - to 100. Invention also relates to method of production of ecologically pure lubricating material.
EFFECT: creation of ecologically pure biodegradable plastic lubricant, reducing wear and increasing resource of rails and wheels, reducing energy consumption for rolling stock traction and possessing high degree of biodecomposition.
