FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, and specifically to a method of producing aryl hydrazide derivatives of general formula (1). The method includes reacting a carbamide of general formula CH2=CHCH2NHC(X)NHCH2N(Me)2 [X = O, S] with hydrazides of aryl carboxylic acids (aryl hydrazides) of general formula RC(O)NHNH2 [R=m-C5H4N, p-C5H4N, o-MeOC6H4] in the presence of a samarium chloride crystalline hydrate catalyst SmCl3·6H2O with molar ratio carbamide:aryl hydrazide:SmCl3·6H2O=20:10:(0.3-0.7) at 80°C and atmospheric pressure in ethanol for 6-10 hours.
EFFECT: described is a method of producing aryl hydrazides of formula (1), which have potential for use as selective sorbents and extractants of ore and precious metals.
