FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of methane and carbon dust explosion detection at initial stage of methane and carbon dust ignition at mining, oil and gas industry. Method includes measurement of radiation in the spectral area of the heat radiation of the combustion products (carbon dioxide), at that radiation of the detected spectral area if additionally divided to two channels, in one channel radiation passes through dish with carbon dioxide and is registered by the photocell, and in the another channel the radiation passes through the neutral attenuator that balances radiation power in this channel prior to registration by the second photocell with radiation power supplied to the first photocell upon carbon dioxide absence between the heat radiation of the absolute black body and photocells, and flame occurence is estimated by signal exceedance in channel with neutral attenuator in comparison with signal in the channel with dish.
EFFECT: technical result is increased interference immunity against external optical interferences.
