FIELD: fire and burst optical detectors.
SUBSTANCE: fire and burst IR detectors convert IR radiation from seat of fire, open flame or burst to electric signal. Radiation photovoltaic detectors are used in device, which detectors are made of solid solution formed by introduction of cadmium selenide into lead selenide. Six basic photoelectric elements with filters are developed. The combination of elements can be successfully used for optimal detection of typical types of flame at background of more characteristic optical noise.
EFFECT: improved reliability; higher speed of operation and sensitivity; adaptation to kind of ignition and kinds of optical noises; reduced cost.
