FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to feeding farm ruminant animals, in particular, dairy cows. The method for enhancement of milk fat biosynthesis with highly productive cows envisages introduction of a buffer mixture in an amount of 100 g/head/daily into the ration composition. The buffer mixture consists of monosubstituted sodium and potassium carbonates and magnesium oxide on a zeolite base. All the mixture components are taken at the specified ratio.
EFFECT: invention implementation ensures maintenance of an optimum level of ruminal medium pH for cellulolytic bacteria vital activity, provides for positive effect on ruminal processes responsible for milk components precursors manufacture thus to promote milk fat formation with enhancement of milk fat content with highly productive cows at the beginning of lactation and promotes milk production efficiency increase.
