FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used in feeding farm animals, particularly milking cows and goats. Method envisages feeding a mineral fodder additive containing magnesium compounds, particularly powdered magnesium carbonate with magnesium oxide content of not less than 47.4%, as part of the basic diet. Magnesium-containing additive is introduced daily during morning feeding, uniformly mixed with concentrated part of fodder in amount of 2.46 g per kg of dry substance of ration for 21 days.
EFFECT: invention usage will allow to increase the average daily milk yield, as well as to improve the produced milk quality.
