FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodwork, particularly, to wet application of glue to wood fibres. Fibres are produced in refiner by splitting of chipped wood. After wet application of glue said fibres are dried in the drier. Then, said fibres are distributed in loading distributor to make a fibrous mat. Hot pressing unit is used to make a wood chipboard of required depth. Wood fibres are transferred inside feed pipe in the flow of saturated steam to glue application zone. Several glue atomisers are arranged inside said pipe, one after another. To stabiliser fibres flow, feed pipe in glue application zone is expanded to down the fibres flow rate ahead of the first atomiser. Glue is applied on fibres in said stabilised flow by atomisers. Then, they are fed into the drier.
EFFECT: higher quality of glue application.
