SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology and can be used in biological and medical laboratories resolving the problems of the effect of probiotic preparations on heavy metal decrease in animal's body. A method for decreasing zinc and lead in a rat's body involves feeding them and administering Sporobacterin of the sporogenous strain Bacillus subtilis 534 in an amount of 0.5-1.5 ml per a head on an empty stomach per os once a day for 7-14 days starting from the moment whereat the rats get sexual maturity.

EFFECT: implementing the invention provides decreasing zinc and lead in the rat's body by administering the Sporobacterin probiotic that ensures providing higher animal's body resistance to diseases.
