FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: amount of ore and the average mass fraction of uranium embedded in the ore pile for leaching is determined and compared with the amount of uranium extracted during leaching process at the outlet of the pile, and the technological process of leaching is modelled in vitro with an assessment of the expected filtration rate of solutions and the degree of uranium extraction. In the pile of ore mass the pipe-wells are placed horizontally with a diameter providing movement on them of well downhole instrument for simultaneous recording of flow of prompt fission neutrons, flux of scattered thermal neutrons from a pulsed neutron source and intensity of natural gamma radiation, and for receiving information on the vertical of the pile the vertical pipe-wells are mounted of the same diameter and at that in all the wells the leaching solution should not be accumulated, that will simplify the interpretation of the results of logging.
EFFECT: increase in reliability of the results of control of heap leaching of uranium ores.
