FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of flat specimens from high-elasticity polymers and other materials to be subjected to high strains for tests for two-axis stretching. Cross-like specimen is cut out from flat plate with preset working zone and arms uniformly cut to tie-rods transmit the load to be secured by one end to working zone and, by opposite arm, to test machine clamps. Tie-rods are secured in clamps in fan-line manner and arranged inside tie-rid arm regularly and equally spaced apart.
EFFECT: decreased distortion of strain fields owing to fan-like arrangement, creation of uniform strain field in working zone.
