FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: gate valve is intended for high pressure vessels, namely for heat exchange units. A gate valve includes an in-series located cover, an external compression ring, a diaphragm with a slot, a gasket, a housing of a distributing chamber, a stop bolt and a pressure stock; with that, the cover with outside curved surface has external trapezoid-shaped teeth; some part of the housing of the distributing chamber with outside curved surface is provided with external trapezoid-shaped teeth; a gasket is made in the form of a spirally wound ring; additionally, a clamp in the form of a shell is introduced; two semi-rings with inside curved surface have internal trapezoid-shaped teeth; with that, teeth of the cover, the housing of the distributing chamber and two semi-rings have a profile angle of 25° to 35°, and studs with nuts for preliminary connection of the cover to the housing of the distributing chamber to installation of the semi-rings.

EFFECT: reducing labour input for manufacture of a gate valve of a distributing chamber for a heat exchanger and improving maintainability.
