FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: backscattered radiation at wavelength of anti-Stokes combinational scattering is picked up with determination of intensity of anti-Stokes radiation scattering Ia. In the process of picking up backscattered radiation at wavelength of anti-Stokes combinational scattering, intensity of Rayleigh radiation scattering Ip and Ipa is further determined. Temperature T is determined from the ratio of intensity of anti-Stokes radiation scattering to intensity of Rayleigh radiation scattering Ia/Ip, corrected based on intensity of Rayleigh radiation scattering Ipa with the condition that temperature T is proportional to a mathematical expression. To realise said method, a device is disclosed for measuring temperature distribution, having two lasers, a spectral multiplexer and demultiplexer, a circulator, an optical fibre, photodetectors, an analogue-to-digital converter, a processor and a switch.

EFFECT: high sensitivity and accuracy of measurements of distributed temperature measuring device.
