SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner (1, 21, 31) comprises Separator (9) comprises at least one air inlet (109) arranged between air intake (3) and air discharge hole (6). Vacuum cleaner (1, 21, 31) is provided with means (15, 22, 37) to guide at least a portion of air to said separator (9). In operation, said air guide (15, 22, 37) makes at least partially closed interface in axial direction for column (17) of air swirling around separator (9). Minimum distance (Rag) from edge (115, 122) of said air guide to separator (9) axle (11) is larger than distance (Rs) from air inlet (109) to separator (9) axle (11).
