FIELD: vacuum cleaning equipment. SUBSTANCE: cyclone type dust collecting apparatus includes cylindrical housing of cyclone collector. Said housing has open upper and lower end portions and opening for discharging collected dust. Apparatus also has trap for trapping dust removed out of housing of cyclone collector. Dust trap has open upper and lower ends and it surrounds housing of cyclone collector. Member of base is joined with lower end of housing of cyclone collector and of dust trap for closing the last. Cover is movably joined with upper end of housing of cyclone collector and dust trap. Cover has air inlet duct and air discharging duct, both ducts are connected with housing of cyclone collector. Cover is also provided with dust separating grating having large number of fine holes. Grating extends downwards from air discharging duct to housing of cyclone collector. Dividing partition is arranged between housing of cyclone collector and dust trap for limiting motion of contamination in dust trap. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced efficiency of dust collection in dust trap, hygienic condition at cleaning filter. 6 cl, 4 dwg
