FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluid cutting processes and may be used for cutting of parts. Proposed method exploits working fluid cooling to ice formation in cutting jet. Working fluid is cooled in heat exchanger to full freezing. Produced ice is subjected to adiabatic compression to working pressure for production of two-phase suspension "fluid-ice" to be fed back into the nozzle. Said nozzle and adiabatic process ensures formation of cutting jet. Said formation is accompanied with pressure drop sufficient for reverse conversion of forming jet core into ice.
EFFECT: ruled out turbulence of cutting jet, higher efficiency of cutting.
