FIELD: cryogenic technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of cryogenic technology, namely: to blocks for complex purification and drying of air, and can be used in air separation plants and gas charging means. The method for complex air purification consists in supplying purified air to an air purification unit containing a housing, inlet pipelines for supplying dried air and waste stream, two adsorbers with inlet and outlet pipelines filled with an adsorbent and interconnected by a pipeline system. The housing of each adsorber is made in the form of a hollow cylinder with profiled flanges with branch pipes that are installed at both ends of the housing for supplying and removing the dried gas. The valves with the control system ensure the switching of the adsorbers from the drying mode to the regeneration mode and vice versa. A coil is installed in the housing of each adsorber, which is a bent pipeline in the form of a spiral for supplying cooled gases of the waste stream, mainly nitrogen, and cooling the adsorbent to its optimum adsorption temperature.
EFFECT: provided is a method for complex purification and drying of air improvement.
