FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: mechanical speed sensor of the optoelectronic speed sensor is corrected periodically, the delay time at reception by photosensitive elements of signals reflected from inhomogeneities of the road paving being lighted by their mini-searchlights of this sensor. Note here that not all pulses from sensitive elements are estimated but solely separate particular pulses isolated in forecast time intervals by the mechanical speed sensor. The periodicity of correction of the mechanical speed sensor is determined on the basis of comparison of signals at the outputs of the first and second channels of the optoelectronic speed sensor.

EFFECT: improvement of accuracy of speed determination.
