SUBSTANCE: invention refers to power industry. Operation method for a gas turbine containing compressor with rotating adjustable inlet guide vanes involves air flow supply to the compressor from air intake system controlling temperature, combustion chamber and turbine. Control circuit of closed circuit generates control variable matching the temperature at turbine outlet, air intake system and rotating adjustable inlet guide vanes are controlled by this control variable so as to maintain temperature at the turbine outlet at desired given level or above. Invention covers also a power unit for implementation of the method.
EFFECT: reduced excessive wear of power plant life.
